Marian University College (MARUCO) is a Constituent College of St Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT) and located in Bagamoyo along Mango Street.
The University College is accredited by TCU since April, 2015.

A: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES
- Bachelor of Arts with Education: (3Years)
Form Six (VI) with TWO principal passes in relevant subjects or its equivalent. The sum of points from at least two subjects (all passed at the same sitting), should not be less than 4.0 points of the NECTA grading system (A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1).
OR
Diploma in Education, Management, Teaching and School inspection with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0 OR Foundation Programme of The OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0
OR
Foundation Programme of the Open University of Tanzania OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0 accumulated from six core subjects and at least a C grade in three subjects especially Arts subjects.
- Bachelor of Science with Education: (3 Years)
Form Six (VI) with TWO principal passes in relevant subjects or its equivalent. The sum of points from at least two subjects (all passed at the same sitting), should not be less than 4.0 points of the NECTA grading system (A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1).

Diploma in Teacher Education (Science Subjects) with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0.
OR
Foundation Programme of the Open University of Tanzania OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0 accumulated from six core subjects and at least a C grade in three subjects especially science subjects.
- Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics: (BSc MS)(3 Years)
Form Six (VI) with TWO principal passes in relevant subjects or its equivalent. The sum of points from at least two subjects (all passed at the same sitting), should not be less than 4.0points of the NECTA grading system (A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1).
OR
Diploma in Statistics, Computer Science, ICT, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication or Education with Mathematics as a teaching subject with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. OR Foundation Certificate of The OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Applied Statistics: (3 Years)
Form Six (VI) with TWO principal passes in relevant subjects or its equivalent. The sum of points from at least two subjects (all passed at the same sitting), should not be less than 4.0points of the NECTA grading system (A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1).
OR
Diploma in Mathematics, Statistics or A p p l i e d Statistics, Business Studies, Computer Science, ICT, Taxation, Banking, Insurance and Risk Management or Education (with Mathematics as teaching subject) with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0 and at least C Grade in Mathematics at O-level OR Foundation GPA of 3.0.
EQUIVALENT ADMISSION QUALIFICATION
A Diploma in the fields of specialization and passed at Upper Second Class, or Average of B grade or GPA of 3.0 AND passes in any FOUR subjects at Form Four (IV). (Please refer the TCU admission criteria for any other equivalent qualification.
OR
Foundation Programme of the Open University of Tanzania with a minimum GPA of 3.0 accumulated from six core subjects and at least a C grade in three subjects.
